How do I make dolls?

doll making process

This is not a tutorial.  This is for those curious types out there, like me.  I’ve been inside a few studios and workshops and its always fascinating to see how others manage their workspace and invent their techniques, so I thought you might like a peek inside my space.   I don’t know why, but I feel most comfortable calling this my workshop, or even my lab, when I’m working with some toxic potions.  I think I’d need better natural lighting to call it a studio...maybe that’s the difference?  Anyway, here’s a couple of links to my doll pages that include some bits of how-to, and a few pictures from my years of doll making . The good news is, you don’t need a dust mask, just to look.  For you extra curious sorts out there, don’t hesitate to contact me if you think I can help you with your own doll and/or art projects.  I figured out a lot over the years and I’m still always experimenting.  I’m happy to hear from others...although sometimes all I can give you is my sympathy!
